VMPappas Maths provides supportive, carefully structured tuition for pupils studying National 5 Maths/Apps, Higher Maths/Apps and Advanced Higher Mathematics.
Every lesson is designed to make challenging ideas easier to understand, strengthen essential mathematical skills and help pupils approach their coursework and examinations with greater confidence.

How Tuition Works
Every lesson is carefully planned to provide a supportive, engaging and productive learning experience.
Before the lesson
Each pupil's current level, strengths and areas for development are identified so that lessons can be tailored to their individual needs.
During the lesson
Lessons focus on developing understanding through clear explanations, guided examples and carefully selected practice questions.
Pupils are encouraged to ask questions, explain their thinking and develop confidence in solving problems independently.
After the lesson
Where appropriate, additional practice and revision tasks are provided to reinforce learning and build long-term confidence.

Weekly Timetable
Lessons run on fixed weekly times to provide pupils with consistency and allow classes to progress together throughout the academic year.

Tuition Fees
Group Tuition
- £20 per lesson
- Invoices issued after every four lessons
- Payment by bank transfer
- No joining fees
- No long-term contracts
- Reasonable notice appreciated if you wish to discontinue tuition
- If a pupil is unable to attend a lesson, please let me know as early as possible. Wherever feasible, I will do my best to accommodate an alternative arrangement.
Meet Your Teacher
I began my academic journey by studying Physics, where I developed a deep appreciation for logical thinking, problem-solving and the beauty of Mathematics.
Wanting to dedicate my career to helping young people learn, I went on to complete a Master of Education in Educational Leadership before becoming a fully registered Mathematics teacher in Scotland.
Today, I teach Mathematics every day in the classroom and bring that experience into every lesson I deliver through VMPappas Maths.
